Landscape Photography
by Tomasz Przychodzień

Some of my works are available in limited series of signed Fine Art prints. I print the photographs myself, using the best baryta paper from Hahnemuhle. You can find all the available works in the prints section.

As a part of the authorial project Light Guides, I lead photo workshops and expeditions in the world’s most unusual regions – we visit the Karakorum, the Dolomites and other locations. I offer group and individual tuition. To arrange the details, please contact me directly.

JOURNAL

Here I share my knowledge and photographic experience as well as practical experience with the gear I use every day. That’s also a place where you can find the most interesting stories related to the creation of my photographs.

ABOUT LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

Meindl, everyday shoe test

I have been using Meindl shoes for many years, they have accompanied me for thousands of kilometers on mountain trails. They were not afraid of the mountains from Świętokrzyskie to Karakoram. I decided recently to check how they cope in… easier conditions.

SOCIAL MEDIA

STAY UPDATED

I don’t value social media. I consider them rather a necessity. To me, Instagram or Facebook are tools made only to support their development, deprecating what is the most valuable in photography. Basing their system of operation on a mechanism of unreflective liking the things done by people who ‘like’ what we do creates a vicious circle in which the quality of created art becomes less and less important. I use social media absurdities on a daily basis and the number of likes is growing steadily. However, this is irrelevant in the context of the quality of images I create and the very process of their creation. Paradoxically, it was thanks to social media that many people got to know my photographs and the conversations we started online quickly moved to an offline world. If you ever find one of my social media profiles – write a message, ask a question, leave a trace. I like talking about photography and I value the contact with people which goes beyond mass likes clicking.
